Young people and their training have been at the center of workshop equipment supplier MAHA for years. This begins with the first meeting, continues with the varied training programs and ends with the successful completion of an apprenticeship. It is well known that taking the first step is the hardest. Yet it is precisely this step that is so important. It offers young people the chance to find out in detail about the various occupational fields and training opportunities so that they can decide which one is right for them.

Haldenwang, 09th April 2024. "A good start is half the battle," said Aristotle. To ensure the best possible start to a good apprenticeship, MAHA employs three full-time and four part-time trainers. Through their work, they endeavour to facilitate the professional orientation of young people in various ways and subsequently provide them with a solid foundation for their professional life. In order to meet young people, they are therefore regularly present at trade fairs and various information platforms.

From 6 to 8 February this year, for example, bayme's M+E InfoTruck (M+E = metal and electrical) was on the MAHA company premises for the third time in a row. The truck has two floors and is packed with experimental stations and practically orientated tasks. Pupils were able to playfully try out how to program a CNC machine and then mill a workpiece, for example. On the upper floor, MAHA trainees presented the company and its training opportunities. How else would the young visitors know that a total of 12 training occupations are on offer?

You read that correctly. Year after year, MAHA offers around 20 young people the chance of a successful start to their careers in 12 apprenticeships. There is a choice of technical, commercial and logistics apprenticeships as well as IT professions and dual study programs. This makes the company one of the largest training organisations in the Allgaeu region. The trainers regularly attend regional recruitment fairs to provide detailed information. This year's event included the Algaeu Apprenticeship Fair, which took place on Saturday, 2nd March at the professional training center in Kempten. The digital apprenticeship fair even ran from 22nd February to 15th Marchm2024. Next on the program is the Allgaeu University Fair on 17th April 2024 (1st floor, info booth 131) on the campus of Kempten University of Applied Sciences.

The next information day, called Girls' Day, will be held on 25 th April 2024 at MAHA: On this day, all girls fascinated by technology can immerse themselves in the MAHA world and be surprised. Anyone interested can register here: Girls'Day.

We look forward to meeting everyone who is curious about MAHA and the people behind it.
