MAHA becomes a European Company (SE) Shaping the future – with clear structure and focus on internationalisation

MAHA Maschinenbau Haldenwang GmbH & Co. KG will operate under the name MAHA SE & Co. KG. Through its transformation into a European Company (Societas Europaea, or SE for short), MAHA is paving the way for an even more tightly networked international corporate structure and a modern, forward-looking approach. SE is now regarded as an established standard for internationally orientated medium-sized companies. 

Haldenwang, 19th November 2025. On 7 September 2023, as part of a long-term and sustainable corporate strategy, the Foundation Board and the Management Board jointly resolved to amend the legal form of the company. The entry in the commercial register was made on 17 November 2025. 

“Through this transformation into an SE, we are demonstrating our identity as a foundation company – for the long term, independently and responsibly – across all of Europe. It represents the logical step in our strategic European orientation and provides us with a standardised legal framework on the basis of which we can further strengthen our ability to act across national borders," explains Andreas Zängerle, Chairman of the Foundation Board of the Familienstiftung Familie Rauch. 

“In our daily operations, this means that decisions can be made more quickly, coordination will take less time and processes will become more efficient. This simplifies co-operation with international institutions and key customers and creates a new basis for continued growth. At the same time, we will remain firmly rooted in Haldenwang – keeping to the values that have made MAHA so strong: reliability, practical orientation and close dialogue with our partners on all continents,” adds Dr. Peter Geigle, Managing Director of MAHA. 

This change is purely a transformation of legal form. Everything remains the same for business partners: All contracts and contact partners stay the same; the structure and headquarters in Haldenwang continue unchanged, as do the company names of the subsidiaries. 

By taking this step, MAHA is clearly defining its position for the future – as a globally operating manufacturer of vehicle testing and lifting technology, rooted in the Allgaeu region, but with eyes set on Europe and the rest of the world.
