Pedders Suspension & Brakes has one of the largest service networks in Australia, consisting of its own workshops and approximately 120 franchise branches with over 500 employees spread across the continent. The company has chosen MAHA as their preferred equipment supplier and sealed this step in writing last year. The Bavarian-based mechanical engineering company was recently once again voted "World Market Leader 2021" in the field of workshop and motor vehicle testing equipment.

Haldenwang, 3 March 2021. The family business Pedders Suspension & Brakes opened its first branch on the Australian south-east coast in Melbourne 70 years ago. Its main business is the manufacture of shock absorber, brake and chassis components. Since signing the agreement with the Australian subsidiary of MAHA Maschinenbau Haldenwang GmbH & Co. KG, the company is considered their preferred supplier. The first Pedders branches have already been equipped with MBT 2250 test lanes - "Made in Germany". In the next steps, an expansion of the MAHA product range to the entire Pedders Group is planned. In addition to the test lanes mentioned above, this also includes MAHA's MSD 3000 axle damping test stand, the MINC | EURO car side-slip tester, the MA STAR 3.5 two-post lift and the DUO CM 4.2 scissors lift. "The previous collaborations between Pedders and MAHA have started well", Mick Lauster, Managing Director of MAHA Australia, reports. "The installation of the next test lanes is scheduled for February/March. It was also agreed that the MAHA Australia team leaders would attend future Pedders events, such as regional meetings or sales conferences," said Lauster.

Convinced by the products of the world marketleader

Rob Davis, Chief Product Officer at Pedders: "We chose MAHA Australia as our preferred supplier because the company offers well thought out concepts for workshop equipment. Through the cooperation with MAHA we are able to provide our branches with state-of-the-art test lanes. In addition, we were convinced by the fact that all products are 100 percent manufactured in Germany as well as the guaranteed reproducible accuracy of their measurement results." On top of that, MAHA reacts flexibly to customer-specific software adaptations. "In particular, the latest generation of MAHA’s user software EUROSYSTEM V8 with its modern 'look and feel' was able to score points with Pedders," reports MAHA Managing Director Michael Amann, adding: "The software enables faster and more efficient vehicle inspection than before, providing the customer with the maximum positive user experience."

"Working with the team at MAHA Australia has been very successful, and at the same time it's good to know that MAHA headquarters is in the background developing the highly functional products and software solutions. We look forward to further extending this relationship to our dealers around the globe once we have fully covered the Australian network together," adds Rob Davis.
