The MAHA Group has supported ESC Kempten Sharks as a sponsor since 2025. As part of the partnership, the company is providing the club with an LED wall. In future, it will be used as a scoreboard in the ice stadium.

Haldenwang, 14th July 2026. When the final seconds are ticking down in the ice stadium, a goal is scored and the fans turn their eyes to the scoreboard, a piece of MAHA will also be visible in future. The machinery manufacturer from Haldenwang is providing the Kempten Sharks with an LED wall that was previously used in the showroom at the company headquarters.

From showroom to ice stadium
On 6th July, the display was dismantled and handed over to the club. In future, it is to be used as a scoreboard in the ice stadium. The support is part of the sponsorship agreement through which MAHA has been accompanying ESC Kempten Sharks since 2025. For the workshop equipment supplier from Haldenwang, this commitment is about more than classic visibility at the rink. It stands for regional ties, a lived sense of togetherness and appreciation for voluntary work in clubs.

Team spirit beyond the boards
“Clubs make an important contribution to our region. They bring people together, promote team spirit and create places where community can be experienced. These values are a very good fit for MAHA,” says Dr Peter Geigle, CEO of the MAHA Group. “Our company, too, only works when many people pull together. That is why we are pleased to support the Kempten Sharks and delighted that the LED wall will take on a new role in the ice stadium.”

As one of the major employers in our region, MAHA also sees social commitment as part of its own responsibility. The machinery manufacturer has been rooted in the region for decades and wants to be visible where people come together: in clubs, in sport and in the wider social environment.

With the LED wall, an existing display from the MAHA showroom is being given a new place of use. In future, it will become a visible part of match days in Kempten. In this way, the partnership combines practical benefit with regional commitment – and shows that support is particularly effective where it strengthens community.
